Indiana Region Guide
Michiana Guide
Notre Dame anchors South Bend, Elkhart builds most of the country's RVs, and Amish country starts a few miles east. Three very different Indianas inside one short drive.
Michiana sits in Indiana's northern corner, where South Bend and Mishawaka run together along the St. Joseph River. Notre Dame anchors the culture and the game-day calendar, while Elkhart is the RV Capital of the World and home to the RV/MH Hall of Fame. Goshen and Nappanee are the way into Amish country. It is an easy region for a campus visit or a slower country drive.
