Common questions

01

What kinds of events do you promote?

Festivals, concerts, fundraisers, grand openings, race weekends, county fairs, and community gatherings. If it is happening in Indiana and you want Hoosiers to show up, it is the right fit. We work with everything from a single small-town weekend to a statewide series.

02

Where does my event actually show up?

That depends on the plan we build, but the surfaces are the same ones our own stories run on: the statewide newsletter and the 10 city editions, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, the Get IN. Podcast, and getindiana.com itself. You get the specific mix in the proposal before anything runs.

03

Can you promote an event in just one city or region?

Yes, and most events should. We cut by region and by city, so a Fort Wayne festival is not paying for reach in Evansville that it cannot use. There are nine regions and 10 city newsletters, plus regional targeting on social.

04

How much does it cost?

It depends on the event, the date, and how much reach you want, so pricing comes after a short conversation rather than off a shelf. Tell us what you are putting on and roughly what you have to spend, and the first reply comes back with a plan that fits it.

05

Can you come to the event and cover it in person?

Yes. On-location coverage is one of the options, and it is the one that keeps working after the gates close, because the video and photos live on afterwards. Say so in the form and we will scope it with the rest of the plan.

06

How is this different from partnering with Get Indiana?

This form is for one event with a date on it. If you want ongoing coverage across a season or a year, that is a partnership, and the partners page has the longer form and the full list of formats.

Tell us what you are putting on

The date, the place, and what a good turnout looks like. You get a plan back with the channel mix and the price, and we will tell you if we are not the right fit.
