Discover Indiana Rug Co – InRugCo Studio & Gift Shop

InRugCo Studio & Gift Shop is a charming, family-owned boutique in the heart of Mishawaka, Indiana — a true hidden treasure for locals and visitors alike. Opened in 1985 by Pam & Rex Richards, the shop has evolved from a custom rug workshop into a vibrant neighborhood mercantile with a wide-ranging collection of locally made and nationally recognized goods.

What to Explore at InRugCo

Custom Area Rugs & Carpet Binding

Family expertise stretches back to 1985. Its inlaid area rugs are handcrafted right in Mishawaka, blending artistry with durability, making them easy to clean like regular carpet.

Carpet binding services are offered at a separate fabrication facility at 900 S. Cleveland St., open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Eclectic Gifts & Local Finds

There is an evolving collection of locally inspired goods: pillows, aprons, market bags, mugs, stickers, magnets, and T‑shirts celebrating Mishawaka, Michiana, and the Midwest.

Homegrown products are aplenty and are supplemented with quality national brands like Lodge, Darn Tough Socks, Smartwool, Marmot, Chaco, and more.

Lola’s Pastry Bread & Jam Bakery

Located inside InRugCo, Lola’s offers artisan, preservative-free baked goods and jams. Pastries are freshly made each week, with online ordering available.

Outdoor & Garden Displays

The shop’s exterior patio is filled with yard and garden décor, offering a surprise element for those walking by.
