Downtown holds most of it: Monument Circle, Mass Ave, Bottleworks, Fountain Square and the Cultural Trail connecting them on foot, with St. Elmo Steak House the oldest table in town and Victory Field putting Indianapolis Indians baseball a walk from dinner. Newfields and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are short drives out, and Broad Ripple is worth its own evening for Rene's Bakery and the shops along the avenue. The Garfield Park Conservatory and the Central Library atrium are the stops most visitors walk past. Speedway, Greenwood and Lawrence sit just over the city line.
