The business was formally incorporated as Eagle Creek Nursery in 1925, making it 110 years old and counting. Tom Esterline Jr., the current owner, represents the fourth generation keeping this family legacy alive.

The nursery survived the Great Depression by supplementing income from their farm operations. When the economy recovered, the landscaping side took off. In the 1960s and 1970s, three third-generation family members joined with formal education in landscaping and horticulture.
