Free Mental Health Navigation Services
The Fishers Health Department is offering a new service in response to Fishers’ Community Health Assessment, which identified mental health as one of the community’s top health priorities and highlighted challenges accessing services and knowing where to turn for support.
The free mental health navigation service offers one-on-one support from FHD’s Mental Health Support Specialist for individuals seeking help for themselves, their child or another loved one.
The Mental Health Support Specialist can help people:
Talk through concerns and identify next steps.
Find mental health providers and community resources.
Connect with services through referrals.
Find resources for a child, spouse, aging parent or other loved one.
Appointments can now be booked online here.
The Milk Bank
The Fishers Health Department, now located inside the Fishers Community Center, is partnering with The Milk Bank to open Fishers’ first Milk Depot and Milk Express.
The new partnership gives Fishers families a local place to both donate and access donor human milk. Approved donors can drop off frozen milk at the Fishers Health Department, while parents and caregivers can pick up pasteurized donor milk ordered through The Milk Bank.
