In 2011 the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts opened The Palladium - a stunning 1,500-seat concert hall in Caramel Indiana. The mission of the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts is to engage and inspire the Indiana community through enriching arts experiences. You will want to visit to admire the domed, neoclassical design of the venue and the impressive list of entertainers is a bonus.
A Functioning Piece Of Art
The Palladium was designed by David M. Schwarz Architects. The Palladium features a four-fronted, symmetrical design. It was inspired by Andrea Palladio’s Villa Capra, La Rotonda in Vicenza, Italy. The Palladium also features a striking limestone façade. Inside you will find elegant high ceilings and floors of Italian marble or Brazilian cherry wood. The facility is a traditional shoebox-shaped concert hall with high ceilings and massive, sound-reflecting walls. Seating is available on the Orchestra, Payne & Mencias Box Tier, Mezzanine, and Gallery levels. No details were spared when it came to the building design.
The Great American Songbook Foundation
The Palladium is also home to the Great American Songbook Foundation. The Great American Songbook Foundation is a nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire and educate by celebrating America’s timeless popular music and its role in our society. The Songbook Exhibit Gallery welcomes visitors Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm to explore and admission is free.
