The Southern Indiana Truck Convoy is hosting its fifth annual convoy at the Ripley County Fairgrounds in Osgood, Indiana on Saturday, Aug. 1.
With nearly 100 trucks entered this year, the convoy is bigger and better than ever, and there is room for more! Sign up to participate in the convoy here. Trophies will be awarded to the oldest truck, oldest working truck, driver who traveled the farthest, and company with the most trucks.
The event is free to attend, but donations are encouraged to benefit Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana.
Who: Southern Indiana Truck Convoy
What: Close to 100 trucks will ride together through Ripley County, escorted by the Indiana DOT. The first three trucks and caboose will be auctioned off live at the fairgrounds, with proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. The fairgrounds will also be home to a silent auction, live music, food trucks, crafters, artisans, and kids activities. There is no setup fee for vendors and no cost to attend for visitors; donations are encouraged.
When: Saturday, Aug. 1. Gates open at 8 a.m. and staging begins for participating trucks. The convoy releases at 1 p.m. for the 27-mile ride through the county before returning to the fairgrounds for the live auction.
