Overview of the Piney Acres Scream Farm
The Piney Acres Scream Farm features three terrifying attractions. It begins in the haunted indoor loft that’s guaranteed to get your heart racing. From there, guests board a hayride with storytelling on what’s to come. The ride drops you off at the infamous 30-foot flame-shooting monster house, which starts the 45-50 minute haunted trail.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Arrive early to beat the lines.
Pro tip: Wear comfortable shoes for exploring the trail and other attractions and dress for the weather.
Fall Family Fun
If jump scares aren’t your thing, Piney Acres also offers plenty of classic fall activities during the day. Families can explore their 8-acre corn maze, visit barnyard animals, enjoy tractor-driven wagon rides, try gem mining, play old-fashioned farm games, and much more. Plus, its farm store is stocked with fall décor, carving kits, and seasonal treats.
If you work up an appetite, Piney Acres has a delicious dining hall serving classic handheld food options like hot dogs, burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, walking nachos and more. For quick snacks and sweet treats, check out Piney Pete’s Whistle Stop for Apple Cider Slushies, popcorn, candy, donuts, and other fountain drinks.
Piney Acres’ daytime hours are Monday through Friday from 12-6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 12-6 p.m.

Outside of the farm, Fortville is home to Memorial Park & Trail, a 30-acre space with playgrounds, a skate park, and wooded walking trails. From there, you can even take a short drive to Flat Fork Creek Park, Hamilton County’s largest sledding hill and a treehouse for observing wildlife.
