Get Indiana founder Nate Spangle was named one of 10 Orr alumni selected to the Orr Alumni Advisory Council.
Orr Fellowship, an early career development program for versatile high-achievers and future-focused businesses in Indiana, has reignited its Alumni Advisory Council to engage and energize its network of nearly 700 Orr alumni. Nate Spangle, founder of Get Indiana, was one of 10 Orr alumni selected to the Orr Alumni Advisory Council.
“Orr Fellowship is a highly supportive program that fosters ongoing connections for college graduates at a critical transition in their lives,” said Steven Emch, President of Orr Fellowship. "Time and time again we hear from our alumni that the Orr community is the single greatest and most impactful aspect of the program. The alumni council will be a key part of enhancing this impact and continuing to foster and engage the Orr Fellowship community long after Fellows’ two years in Orr."
Following a temporary hiatus, the Council relaunched this spring with 10 alumni from 10 different classes. They will serve terms of two to three years under the advisory of Catherine Mazanek, Senior Director of Engagement.
The new Orr Alumni Advisory Council members include:
Bill Conway, Carmel, Ind., Purdue University, Guidepath Consulting, Class of 2006
Robert Pampel, St. Louis, Valparaiso University, Washington University in St. Louis, Class of 2008
Kate Gerber, Carmel, Ind., University of Dayton, Resultant, Class of 2012
Mollie Kuramoto, Indianapolis, Purdue University, High Alpha, Class of 2015
Lauren Wuertemberger, Carmel, Ind., Saint Mary's College, Class of 2016
Cody Campbell, Salt Lake City, DePauw University, Adobe, Class of 2017
Nate Spangle, Indianapolis, DePauw University, Get Indiana, Class of 2019
Colton Haymon, Indianapolis, Butler University, netlogx, Realtor, Class of 2020
Annah Van Gheem, Carmel, Ind., Butler University, Robert Dietrick Company, Class of 2021
Megan Green, Indianapolis, University of Notre Dame, Performance Services, Class of 2023
“Orr’s mission is to recruit and develop the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. What better way to continue investing in that mission than by engaging the business leaders and entrepreneurs who got their start with Orr?” said Mazanek. “Continued engagement from Alumni strengthens the Fellowship and drives further impact in Indiana.”
Council members will meet quarterly for discussions and working sessions, giving input and activating the alumni network. Collectively, the Alumni Advisory Council members will focus on:
Energizing reunion classes.
Tracking alumni successes.
Catalyzing “chapter” meetups by geography.
Activating fellow classes for Orr needs.
