Endeavor Restaurant Group, a Louisville-based hospitality company, launched Cooper & Cow Steakhouse & Bourbon Lounge in December 2023. It is located in the Fishers Nickel Plate District. The venture will occupy the previous LouVino Restaurant & Wine Bar space, another brand under the Endeavor umbrella, at 8626 E. 116th St.
The space spans 4,200 square feet and offers a distinctive dining experience.
General Manager Matt Bauer shared with the Indianapolis Business Journal, stating, "Bringing Cooper & Cow to the Nickel Plate District and the broader north-side community is thrilling. This establishment is not only in sync with the city’s ambitious vision but also marks a significant step in the district’s ongoing growth and development. We are eager to become an integral part of the community."
The design theme aims to add a historical twist to a modern dining experience. The restaurant accommodates around 110 patrons, offering both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as event space.
The name Cooper & Cow is a tribute to the artisans known as coopers, who craft oak barrels for bourbon aging. Reflecting this heritage, the menu features an array of steaks, fresh seafood, an extensive selection of bourbons, signature cocktails, and fine wines.
Endeavor's portfolio includes Big Bad Breakfast, Waldos Chicken & Beer, and LouVino Restaurant & Wine Bar.
The acquisition of the LouVino brand in 2019 from founders Chad and Lauren Coulter marked a strategic expansion for Endeavor, further showcasing its commitment to offering unique dining experiences.
