A Big Weekend in Nashville, Indiana: Bourbon, BBQ, and a $1K Bar Tab

We’re heading south to one of our favorite (and your favorite) small towns—Nashville, Indiana—for a weekend packed with food, drinks, music, and maybe a little mischief. If you’ve never spent a summer weekend in Brown County, this is your sign to make the trip. Here’s what our crew will be up to:

Friday Night: $1,000 Bar Tab at Moontown Brewery

We’re kicking things off in style at Moontown Brewery. And here’s the real kicker—we’re opening a bar tab for $1,000 because Nashville won Get Indiana’s inaugural Small Town Showdown Bracket Challenge. Yes, really. Come hang with us, grab a pint, and socialize. The taps will be flowing, the vibes will be immaculate, and there’s a chance Nate rips a couple spicy moves on the dance floor.

Saturday Morning: Hiking + Cinnamon Rolls

We’re up early (kinda) and hitting the trails to soak in Brown County’s beauty. Afterward, we’re heading straight to Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls and Cafe to undo all the hiking we just did. Priorities, right?

Saturday Afternoon: Hard Truth Bourbon & BBQ Festival

It’s time for the main event—the Hard Truth Bourbon & BBQ Festival. From live music in the amphitheater to bourbon tastings and pitmaster BBQ, this is the reason we’re all here in the first place. What you can expect if you join us at the Bourbon & BBQ Fest:

  • Bourbon by the barrel

  • Bands all day long

  • Smoky eats that’ll make you consider a second plate (or third)

We’ll be there with the cameras rolling. Will you?

Where We’re Staying: Downtown Nashville

We’re posted up in the heart of Nashville so we can walk, wander, and stumble home as needed. It’s the perfect basecamp for exploring, shopping, and grabbing that one souvenir you definitely didn’t need.

Stop by Moontown Brewery Friday night and have a beverage with us, or find us at the festival on Saturday. We’ll be there capturing the whole weekend.
