LIV Golf Comes to Indiana: What’s the Hype?
For the first time ever, LIV Golf is making a stop in Indiana—and not just any stop. From August 15–17, 2025, the tour’s season finale lands at The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield, just north of Indy. Expect huge crowds, star golfers, and a golf-meets-festival weekend unlike anything Indiana has hosted before.
So what exactly is LIV Golf, and why is everyone talking about it?
A New Style of Pro Golf
LIV Golf launched in 2022 with a mission to shake up the sport. Forget the stuffy 4-day grind—LIV is faster, louder, and more fan-focused:
54-hole format (3 days instead of 4)
Shotgun start (every player tees off at once)
No cuts (everyone plays all weekend)
Team competition (yes, there’s a team trophy too)
Music and festival vibes (concerts included!)
Basically, if traditional golf feels slow or quiet, this isn’t that. You’ll hear music on the course, see golfers in shorts, and experience action on every hole from the moment play begins.

Season-ending championship for the LIV Golf League
Each day kicks off with gates opening around 9:00 AM and a late-morning shotgun start (typically 11:00 AM). Golf wraps in the afternoon, followed by evening concerts:
Friday Night: Riley Green
Saturday Night: Jason Derulo
Sunday: Trophy ceremony + closing celebration
Tickets cover both golf and concerts, and the course is ready to welcome up to 75,000 fans for the weekend.
