What’s the Difference Between LIFT Academy® and LIFT Maintenance®?

Founded in Indianapolis by Republic Airways, LIFT Academy® is a flight training program that helps future pilots launch their careers through hands-on flight training and advanced technology, providing a pathway to becoming a commercial airline pilot.

You can learn more about becoming a pilot at flywithlift.com.

LIFT Maintenance® is a program for those who may not want to fly an aircraft but would rather work on them as an aviation maintenance technician (AMT). LIFT AMTs perform 100-hour inspections and around-the-clock maintenance coverage on the LIFT℠ Diamond Aircraft fleet, and come with factory training from Diamond Aircraft, Austro Engines and Garmin. LIFT℠ AMT apprentices earn $16/hour during the apprenticeship and can earn an average starting between $24-32.50/hour at various bases once they have passed Airframe and Powerplant certifications.
