The lights at Gainbridge Fieldhouse drop, the whole arena lights up in neon and blacklight, and then the pyro kicks in and the trucks come out swinging. Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow-N-Fire rolls into downtown Indianapolis for one weekend only: Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26, 2026.
If you are hunting for the ultimate family event in Indy this summer, this is it. Here is everything parents need to plan the perfect outing: the trucks, the stunts, the showtimes, and the survival-guide details that make the day go smoothly.
What Is the “Glow-N-Fire” Twist?
You may know the popular Hot Wheels “Glow Party” concept, with trucks and the arena drenched in neon under blacklight, with a laser light show overhead. Glow-N-Fire supercharges it. The 2026 tour keeps the dazzling neon and theatrical lasers, then adds enhanced pyrotechnics and blazing fire effects on top. It is the same glow-in-the-dark spectacle your kids love, now with a whole lot more heat. Expect to feel the booms in your chest.
Meet the Trucks (The Main Event)
The whole reason you are here: the monster trucks themselves, lighting up the dirt one massive jump at a time.
Leading the charge is the headliner making its big live tour debut: Rhinomite, a dynamite, rhino-themed stunt truck that charges into the arena horn-first. It is the new face of the tour and the truck the whole crowd will be watching.
Rolling out alongside the new guy is a lineup of returning fan favorites:
Mega Wrex, the dino-jawed crowd-pleaser
Tiger Shark, all teeth and attitude
HW 5-Alarm, the fire-truck entry (very on theme this year)
Bone Shaker, the skull-faced hot rod icon
Bigfoot, the original monster truck legend
Skelesaurus, the skeletal dino-truck
Smash Pad, Robot Dinosaurs & Big-Air Stunts
The trucks are the headliners, but the show is stacked with extras, and one of the best parts happens before the main event even starts.
The Pre-Show Power Smash Pad Party: on Saturday, July 25, the fun kicks off early from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM, ahead of the 11:30 AM show. It is a great way to start the day before the trucks roll.
Megasaurus: a massive, fire-breathing, car-crushing transforming robot dinosaur that performs live and eats cars whole. It is a wild thing to watch up close.
FMX Freestyle Motocross: high-flying motorcycle riders launching gravity-defying aerial tricks over the trucks.
Dance parties & giveaways: arena-wide interactive dance breaks and exclusive Hot Wheels toy giveaways throughout the show.
The Parents’ Survival Guide
Here is the part that makes or breaks the day. Gainbridge Fieldhouse (125 S Pennsylvania St) is one of the more family-friendly arenas around, and a little planning goes a long way.
Showtimes: pick your session
Saturday, July 25 at 11:30 AM (with the Power Smash Pad pre-show party from 9:00–10:15 AM)
Saturday, July 25 at 6:30 PM (the evening show, arguably the best one to catch the full glow-and-fire effect)
Sunday, July 26 at 1:30 PM
Tickets & kids’ pricing
Special discounted kids’ pricing is available for ages 2–12, and note that children 2 and up need their own ticket. One quirk to plan around: Ticketmaster requires at least one adult ticket per three kid tickets, so build your group accordingly.
Sensory & family comfort
A monster truck show is loud and bright by design, so the venue’s accommodations matter:
Sensory Room: a dedicated calm, safe space at Section 119 for anyone who needs a break from the noise.
Sensory bags & weighted lap pads: available on request at Guest Services desks (Sections 2, 119, and 206/207).
Nursing Mothers Rooms: located at Section 2 and Section 119.
Strollers are permitted and can be stored near your ticketed seats.
Accommodation locations can shift, so it never hurts to confirm current details at a Guest Services desk when you arrive.
Making a full weekend of it? The same July weekend brings the Brickyard 400 to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and there are always free museum days around Indy to round out the trip.
Grab seats for any of the three sessions on Ticketmaster, or check the Gainbridge Fieldhouse event page for full venue details.
Will you go for Saturday’s daytime show, the full-effect Saturday night session, or the Sunday matinee? Lock in your tickets, then tell us in the comments: which truck is your kid screaming for: Rhinomite, Bigfoot, or Mega Wrex?
