The Digest

Fishers Margaritaville

Ever heard of "Buffett Parkway" in Fishers, Indiana? In the 80s, a golden opportunity presented itself to John L. Cox (a Fishers Police Officer). Hamilton County had a no-repeat rule for street names. So as a Buffett superfan, he joked about naming a street after the singer to the right people.

Well, it happened. And Cox was able to personally hand Jimmy a copy of the street sign. All thanks to Cox, the first sign ever named after Buffet is in Fishers. Read John’s full story here.

What does a consultant do?

What does a consultant actually do?

Consultants ain’t cheap. But what do they actually do?

Brought to you by Bright Cellars

Wine is tricky. Wouldn't it be great to have a personal sommelier tell you exactly which wines you'll like and what to pair them with? One problem. Not many of us can afford to add a sommelier to our payroll.

Enter Bright Cellars: a monthly wine club that sends you wines based on your palate. You will take a 30-second quiz, and boom. Personalized wine recommendations.

Then they'll send you six bottles perfectly matched to your taste. Each wine will have an education card with serving temperature, food pairings, growing region, and pronunciation (so you sound like a pro saying Sancerre at your next tasting).

And if you don't like a bottle, Bright Cellars will make it right in your next box.

So try Bright Cellars now — Fishers Digest readers get $100 off their first box for a limited time.
