From idea to execution, here’s how we pulled off one of the most legendary tailgates in Indianapolis 500 history.
We gave away $2,600 in cash, handed out over 2,000 drinks (yes, milk and cold brew included), and were once again the first truck in the infield at the Indy 500. This wasn’t just a party—it was a full-blown, all-Indiana celebration.

Where the Idea Came From
This tailgate started as a crazy idea: buy an old truck, be the first into the infield, and throw a massive Indiana-themed party. What began as a dream with some buddies and a Facebook Marketplace search became a mission: create the most memorable tailgate at the most Indiana event of the year.
The idea popped back in 2024 when we decided to flip a truck, drive it in, and just let it rip. That turned into a serious content play—and a profitable one.
How We Made It Happen
We locked down front-row turn 3 passes, built an epic prize wheel, rallied our team, and hit the streets to collect product from some of Indiana’s best brands. Then we:
Worked with past podcast guests and local partners to secure over $20,000 in sponsorships
Packed up hundreds of cartons of Indiana Dairy milk, thousands of beers, seltzers, coffees, and more
Hauled it all in with multiple vehicles (shoutout to Big Red and the Brewmate coolers)
Camped overnight to make sure we were first through the North 40 gate
Spun the prize wheel all day—giving out wild prizes and cash
Our Sponsors Made It Possible
We couldn’t have done it without our amazing Indiana partners. Massive shoutout to:
Dad Water – For bringing the vibes and the beverages
Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance – Who backed our history-of-Indy500-transportation feature
Java House – Fueling fans with cold brew (use code Nate for 20% off!)
Moontown Brewing Co. – Local craft beer legends
Upland Brewing Co – Always repping Indiana’s best
Four Day Ray – Supporting summer beer giveaways
Each of these brands helped us bring Indiana pride to life in the heart of the Speedway.

Why It Worked
This tailgate wasn't just big—it was intentional.
The content game was strong: Isaac crushed it on video. Will crushed it on-site. Jenna designed a prize wheel that drew crowds nonstop.
Community-first energy: No selling. Just giving. And having fun.
Execution was everything: From a deep freezer in the back of a truck to lining up coolers in the perfect tailgate puzzle—every detail mattered.
